does anyone just use 1 offensive set and how is it working out for you?

Im experimenting with it right now.. but in D3 Rockne I've seen it be successful with Claremont Mckenna Harvey (Shotgun) and Sul Ross State (Pro-Set)

I use the Shotgun exclusively and enjoy it quite well (just won my first NC).  Was thinking about doing it with Trips because it gives you more flexibility with the run also involved. 

It's great if the other team can't stop you, but I like more options. I run everything but I and adjust at halftime to which runs best. I think Shot Gun would work great as only formation if you had 4 very speedy,elusive and tall receivers.

Of my 3 NC - each team only ran 1 offensive formation. (2 Pro - 1 WB)

Height/weight doesn't matter.

Height? I noticed one of my DTs who is 6' 8'' gets alot of PDs, does height matter?

Im pretty sure height has nothing to do with it.

No. Lust how scared the QB is of the DT.

Height and weight are just fluff and has nothing to do with any thing at all.

I do it with all shotgun on my two teams CMH in Rockne and Louisiana Tech in Dobie. I set all sorts of records and have won national championships in D3 and D1A, but it can be frustrating because when you live by the pass, you die by the pass and are more likely to upset teams and be upset. The key is you have to sell out recruiting to the style, and it takes several seasons to set up. If you don't get 3 of the top 5 WR recruits every season and exactly the QB you want, there is no point to it.

wishbone is fantastic.  control the time of possession, little to no interceptions, and easier positions to recruit (QB / WR not very important).

You can run one offensive set without difficulty. (I run just the pro set.) On defense you definitely need 2....
