Larry Hisle has 13 doubles, 11 homers, 47 runs and 52 RBI. Richie Hebner (hitting .318) has scored 46 but has only two homers and 32 RBI. Wayne Comer is the fourth Rider with 40 runs scored, hitting that mark exactly.
Rookie Tyron Carrigan is hitting .436 with an OBP of .489. Hebner's OBP of .418 leads the "regulars".
Ron Reed (7-5, 3.91, 1.30) and Jim Maloney (6-4, 3.11, 1.20) are the top starters. Tommy John has been a disappointment at 3-9 (4.47, 1.54).
In the pen, Bob Humphreys (6.69 ERA) has been atrocious, and is 0/7 in save opportunities. The team is 15/27 overall. Ken Johnson, Darold Knowles, and even Ted Abernathy have been basically solid out of the pen while Humphreys and Pee Wee Musick have been terrible. Bill Lee has not pitched well (11.75 ERA) but is 4/4 in saves.
