I am shocked that I'm the only one who took an 1800's albatross in the 60mil league....I figured those high inning pitchers from the strong hitting seasons (with the ability to hit as well) would be popular......this doesn't bode well for my team.....

Somehow I forgot when building the actual team around Cobb and Jeter that the 300k rule was on at $60m. I don't think it terribly changed anything and a few of the guys I'd have probably taken anyway, but it would have been nice to have 200k Mike Hessman instead of 200k Nick Johnson.

Ah well.

my 90mil team is so bad that schwarze started a 200k guy against them in game 4 and we barely beat him. oh, and they're designed specifically to beat Addie Joss, and we got shut out by Joss in game 1.

Yep, in game 4's, I started 200K guys on 5 of my 6 teams (lost all 5).  I have 3-man rotations on those teams and in each case, my number one SP was not back to 100% yet.

I had to start a bunch of guys (spot starters) that I normally wouldn't have thought I would have to.....did something change with the fatigue between round 1 and round 2?

Regardless of the swings I see during each 6-game session, I must keep reminding myself that 10-8 every day will equate to an average of 90 wins per team...

Every single one of my teams suck except the albatross team, and they just got swept today. It's amazing how this silly tournament affects my mood. It's just a silly tournament after all, I keep telling myself, but... dammit it really hurts when four of my teams are 2-7. It really, really hurts!

Yep, round 2 is especially tough.  Most of us are used to having a lot of success and we're not used to having below .500 teams.  Tough competition.
