Spent four hours last night building my first team and am still unhappy with it. This seems to get more difficult each year!

There's nothing like the feeling of elation that comes when you find a roster that just leaps out at you.

I've been working my *** off on the 90mil GM Challenge and finally found a roster that seems head and shoulders above the rest.

I think finding a solid team between .500-.549 with three good twists is the best bet, but I'm interested to see what others come up with

probably just a typo but there isn't any twisting involved in the 90mil league

Make sure to check the blacklist. It would suck to do all that work and then realize that the team was used last year and is blacklisted.

Yeah my first team fell under that category

Even if the season was prior to 1920? (acknowledging that we don't use any player seasons prior to 1920 of course)

You won't be able to use a park before 1920.

For those of you who like to have the exact league specs while building your team, here's something for you. These are the league numbers for the 6 teams that I built. Feel free to go into these leagues to help you build your teams. Do NOT submit your roster when completed since there's only a 25% chance that each of your teams will actually be placed in these leagues.

70M: 90688
80M: 90690
90M: 90691
100M: 90692
120M: 90693
140M: 90694

Once you get your official league assignment, you can Edit League Option to switch league numbers.

(FYI - You won't get any info from looking at my team names. They are all generic).

In theme #1, the 5-man rotation is for ROSTER purposes only, correct? So, in actual game play, anyone can start and there are no game restrictions?
6/11/2010 12:14 PM
Yes, that is correct. But the five 150+ IP pitchers must have "SP" as their WIS-assigned position.

In the twist league it says you can use a player's stats within +/- 3 years of the season you use. Do they still have to play for the same team as they did in the season we choose?
