yep - that's why we just had that as a WISC theme (Overpriced Studs). The easiest way to lose games is to waste gobs of the salary cap...

*Easiest* suggests an interesting idea for a theme.

Give people a choice between having to roster some overpriced players, or having to use some really low priced players. You don't want to have rules on usage, so maybe the latter could be a limit of 4000 PA_162 and 1000 IP_162 of over $5000/PA;$15000/IP or something. That still wouldn't force people to put scrubs out on the field, but it would mean they had to choose between really bad fatigue and having scrubs on the field.

We all know that the best teams tend to be balanced. But is destroying balance in the high price or the low price direction worse?

Honestly, I don't know how anyone could spend $39M on 455 IP and make it work "well" for this theme. Surely none of you thought I would try it.
