On cloned pitchers, can you use more than 6 seasons?
6/14/2010 8:41 AM
No, 6 is the max.

yet another question re the clone league. can we select a season of the cloned player that does not have 500 abs as long as we have the 3 seasons that meet the criteria? and thus is 3 seasons the max?
6/21/2010 9:30 AM
Yes

I must be thick as a brick (insert joke here). Yes to 3 teams max or yes to being able to select a <500 ab version of the player?

*** FYI ***

I highly recommend that you start building/researching your 90M and 100M teams now. These will take the longest to complete.
Wow, you were so right.  Spent hours last night on the clone team only to figure out that the team I put together and the stadium limitations caused some problems so it is back to the drawing board!

Sorry, yes.  As log as you have at least 3 at 500+, it doesn't matter how many ABs/PAs any other hitting clones have,

A clarification pertaining to the $100 Mil where you pick:     (1) Is it one year, 1990, and you can only twist those players that were on that 1990 roster (+/- 3 years).   or is it  (2) One team with a span of 7 years (+/- 3 years) and you can twist any players that played on that team during that 7 year period (twist players from 1987 through 1993 eventhough they were not on the 1990 roster)?

simhead, It seems the first line of the $100M description answers the question as (1).  "Pick any single-season team (1901-2009 seasons only) and build your roster from players who appeared at least one game on that team."

Correct

For the $70M theme, the requirement is for "at least" 5 150+IP SPs; if we use more than 5 such pitchers, do they all count toward the 900IP minimum?
6/29/2010 3:35 PM
Yes, You could have six 150+ IP pitchers if you wanted.    But if you had five guys at 160 and a sixth guy at 100, your total is counted at 5 * 160 = 800.

Bonehead move for the day: I just entered my $70M team -- into an Open League!  It was the 24th team entered and a schedule has been generated.  Though tempted to leave it to see what would happen, I have submitted a ticket asking for emergency intervention.

For the $70M theme, just a clarification of the "150+" IP requirement.  Does it mean that 1) pitchers with 150 or more IP count towards the 900 IP need, or is it, 2) pitchers need 151 or more IP to count towards the 900 IP requirement.  Thanks.
