Well, it looks like we still have a shot to finish with the best margin between seeding and final standings (+47 - depending what biernej does), so something to feel a tad good about, I suppose.  Gotta do better next year.  Great job with all this, schwarze.

Well, since I did manage one team making the World Series, is there an extra bonus for winning it all or just another 5 points like any other round?

You get five points for each round won (including the WS) so winning the World Series = 31 total points (5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 11 wins).

It's rare for anybody outside the top 50 to advance, let alone in the 80's and 90's.    Heck of a performance by your teams jtpsops, despite falling a bit short.

No, not yet.  There are owners with teams still playing in the LCS that could pick up 15-17 points with a WS win (1-3 wins in the LCS + 5 bonus + 9 pts for winning WS). The owners in 23-24-25 could get swept in the WS.

Somehow, I scraped through with one team (1999 KC Royals running on fumes) reaching the World Series.  Tied for 28th with The Taint at 544. Now I need to win the series, marlowe, bighappyguy, and The Taint all have to lose their one WS, and ennam_iv, already at 553, has to get swept in his for me to tie for 24th.

Guess I'm eliminated anyway, as ennam_iv had more regular-season wins than I did, so he'd win the tiebreaker.
