I decided to post the standings with the owner pre-rank also shown.  This is an easy way to see which owners are exceeding expectations, and which are underachieving...Standings are through Aug 12 pm2.

Only 9 of the top 24 were pre-ranked in the top 24, although four more are hanging around in the low 30's.  We usually get between 14-18 of the top 24 preranked owners advancing to round 2.  #92 ranked hacker7 is the biggest surprise, sitting at #10.

On the other hand, sford, sgsmith, newarkwilder, markeking, ballantine, bardin, mpitt76 and Whiteslave have some work to do. 

From a pre-rank of 32 to an actual rank of 82. I blame having the 3rd toughest divisional strength, even if I know that's a lie. Makes me curious what my divisional strength was last year though.

Had you done this a day ago, I'd have been around 25th.....1 miserable day later and the winning pct goes from .543 to .481.  Very bad day, very bad.

I knew I should've waited until I was out of first to post this.  1-5 this a.m.

At least I can say I was in the Top 24 at some point of the season.  Fatigue issues for a couple of teams will be y downfall  - better remember to draft more PA and IP for the $70M level next time!

At least I'm not alone.  But I think I speak for sford and everyone else on your little list there when I ask whether this post was really necessary.

Was I really pre-ranked 64?  I named all my teams 63!!!  Grrr.

Actually, you may have been originally pre-ranked 63.  I redid the rankings after all the leagues were started to account for the five replacement owners.  (I can't re-do the rankings before the leagues are full, because the league alignment is based on rankings - and that would mean teams would end up switching leagues)
