I don't think usage is the issue. I start 16.5 points. I just looked at my FGAs for LBJ and for Wilt. Howard is on pace for 42.7% more FGA than in real life. LBJ = 31.4%, Marion = 23.3, Rodman = 19.4% and Wilt = 14%. I'm sure those numbers probably factor in somehow. Here's my current depth chart:
PG: Paul 28, LBJ 20
SG: LBJ 13, Marion 35
SF: Rodman 43, Marion 3, Birdman 2
PF: Howard 35, Drummond 13
C: Wilt 47, Drummond 1
The least amount of usage points possible on the floor at any given time is 9.5 (Paul, Marion, Rodman, Drummond, Wilt). I checked the box score of the 37to game and this lineup was on the floor for 32 seconds in the 2nd quarter and 19 seconds in the 3rd quarter for a grand total of 51 seconds of the game. Shouldn't be a huge factor, but who knows.
I also discovered additional ridiculous information. In the first quarter, My lineup looked like this (in order 1-5): LBJ, Paul, Marion, Howard, Chamberlain. Paul was subbed in at SG for some reason. Why the f*ck would that happen? Why wouldn't Paul go to PG and LBJ to SG? The sim is that dumb? I don't want Paul playing SG, hence the reason I don't have him in my depth chart there.
Then, later in the first quarter, my lineup looked like this: Paul, Marion, James, Drummond, Chamberlain. Why is LBJ subbed in at SF? He's not on my depth chart there, but Marion is. Why not put Marion at SF and LBJ at SG, like I have my depth chart set to? I have my lineup set how I want it. If 5 guys are going to be on the floor on offense, I want them at the positions I've put them at in my depth chart.
At one point in the 2nd quarter, my lineup was: Paul, Marion, Rodman, LBJ, Wilt. WTF?
