Definitely one of their best all-around games so far this season.

As much as I hate the schedule being so busy while they are missing people, it can only help to be overworked in October as opposed to March.

How can we break this injury curse??

If you can imagine such a thing, a Penguins player is injured.

According to TSN's Bob McKenzie, Penguins defenseman Zbynek Michalek will be sidelined a month due to a broken finger.

Michalek left in the third period of Saturday's 4-1 win against the Devils after being struck in the right hand by a shot from New Jersey forward Rod Pelley with 9:18 left in the game.

A free agent signing in 2010, Michalek is one of the premier shot-blocking defensemen in the NHL. In 10 games this season, he led the Penguins with 17 blocked shots. Additionally, he recorded three points (one goal, two assists).

Nabakov plays 65 minutes and then bows out before the shootout, forcing DiPietro to come in cold.

ONLY if he is ready and gets clearance. Otherwise, sit him until the playoffs!
Letestu was a huge disappointment this season. He just couldn't get it going.
