Might as well start a thread cursing the sim gods for this years tournament.

Hope springs eternal until you land in a three leagues with shaybee and then proceed to get placed into his division in all three leagues. Last year I got stuck in two or three divisions with johngpf.

Oh yeah and to top everything off Kevin Brown threw a perfect game against me this morning - link.

Schwarze - Can you post the league numbers and update the seedings/league assignments with all the replacements? I've got an old spreadsheet that I used to calculate the toughest/easiest divisions (by rankings) if I can get the updated list.

I started 1-5, including a game where I blew a 3-run 10th inning lead.

As far as the seedings, I am going to re-seed the 4 replacement owners. I will post something soon.

Well, I was gonna gripe about losing one of my games 21-2... but another guy in my league lost 52-2... so, now I don't feel so bad.

Went 3-3 day one...

Well, it is back-to-back 2 Wins and 4 Losses for me. We're looking at being out of it relatively soon.

0-6 opening start... including an 11 inning loss that has my entire pen in the red. What did I do to deserve this?

2-4 second set... With wins in the 2 leagues I least expected them from... This could be a really long tourney.

So far, I'm 0-4 against arzach42's teams and 7-1 against everyone else.

Holy cow! 52-2! That is going to be a long season for him.

I'm something like 0-7 in games decided by 2 or less runs so far.....nice.

Hopefully tz can get the cumulative standings up before I drop below .500. I think this might be the best start in my WISC tenure.

And no, I don't worry about jinxing myself in this environment. Are you serious? I know I'm dropping back eventually, I just want a nice picture from up here while it lasts.

Sigh... another 1-5 cycle, my third already. I dread this every year, but this year could be the first time I don't advance to the second round (one 1 of 6 teams is over .500).

It always sucks to run a two-tier tournament and not advance to the second tier.
