Well, I will update the standings shortly, but based on the table above, 24 teams have a max score of 562+ points, which would leave 558 out. That does not take into consideration whether or not some of those teams play each other or not.

Well, given that JohnGPF is officially dropping out, that means newarkwilder and Yabahos are on the bubble. (Yabahos loses the tie-breaker vs. acn24).

jetscanes needs one win (he's up 3 to 2 in the WS) to advance.

mpitt76 is down 2-0 in the 70M WS and is down 3-2 in the 140M WS. He needs to win just one of the WS or to accumulate just 4 more wins to advance (which means he could lose both WS 4-3 and advance with 557 pts).

looks like i'm going to sneak in the back door. pretty much waved the white flag with three first round punch outs, but the $100M squad, down 2 games to 3 in the WS, found a way to win 2 games on the road, including game 7 against 95 greg maddux. throw in the fact that two of my teams had to win game 162 to make the post season, and we've pretty much been playing with our proverbial backs to the proverbial wall for the last two weeks.

consolation prize: all three teams that delivered the first round knockout blow to my squads all went on to the WS, so it took a championship caliber team to knock us out.

haven't even looked at the round 2 themes, but then again planning is over rated...
