Mike, I just took over a new team, and found the owner had taken two players with big contracts and mutual option years and put them in rookie league. I think he was hoping that they would opt out of their final year. They didn't, and now I have to exercise or decline. **If I exercise will they decline because they have been stuffed into the minors?**

No.  If they're going to decline, it will be at rollover.   If you have the choice, their decision has been made.

So, I offered Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Julio Rijo $8 mil in his 2nd arb year.  He accepted.  Then, staying on the Arb. page, I immediately offered him a 5 year deal for $10 mil/year with a $6 mil bonus.  But I don't see the bonus money coming out of my payroll when I check my "Franchise Payroll Analysis".  Is this boney money coming out of next season's payroll?  Or is it coming out of thin air?

All of them.   Then they print them, put them on a cork board in the bathroom and laugh at them when they take a ****.

Do you know anybody that's looking to try HBD for the first time? Been stuck at rollover for a good month at least now and getting impatient. 

I don't.  As I've mentioned many times, this is a niche' market.    There aren't thousands, hundreds or maybe even dozens of people running around and thinking "Man, I wish I could find a simsite that would allow me to run an entire, yet fake, baseball organization."    It's a sports/nerd market or maybe a numbers/nerd market in some cases.  It's just tough to get people to give it a shot.   I tried with everyone I played FF with over the years.   Ranged from "Sounds interesing" but never signed up to "Uh, no.  Sounds like work."    Of course, the person who said "Sounds like work" spends hours each week looking at NFL fantasy sites trying to find that week 6 sleeper that they'll drop before week 7.

I've been able to get one buddy to try it out, but most are others shy away because they can't "win" anything (re: $). If you end up hearing about something somehow, let me know? (only asking the question so the post is relevant)
