Thanks for the quick review and input. Will see what I can do to add a bat or two.

How are the worlds doing that you commish? Is that Coop and Moonlight Graham?

Getting ready to hire coaches (ugh) and I need to hire a new fielding instructor (Uggh!) should I plan on spending $3 mill or $4 mill to get a good one?

Both are moving along just fine.   It's tougher to fill worlds these days but, so far, it hasn't affected us.

In my worlds, yes.   You only had 3 in Riley making 3m or more last season(one at 6.5m.  Whaaaa......)   It doesn't seem that the hiring ceiling is quite as competitive there.

Is there a difference between 100 (100) and 70 (100) the day before he pitches?

I personally believe the 100(100) will fatigue less over the course of a season.

How do you think Sparano has done as interim coach and does he deserve a shot next season?
12/24/2014 9:46 AM
The team has played for him and, too often, "interim" coaches don't get that from the players.   That said, he's not an unknown commodity.   He had one good season in Miami followed by two mediocre and one bad one.    I'd like to see someone else.   But, then again, it's the Raiders.   Good coaches aren't exactly beating a path to their door.

So do you think Harbaugh is off to Michigan and that leaves Mark Davis with no option but to keep McKenzie and Sparano? Rumors about Holmgren, isn't he washed up?
12/24/2014 6:29 PM
Would you like to see the vertical stretch offense come back to the Raiders offense?
12/24/2014 6:30 PM
I don't know that Harbaugh is all jacked up to coach Oakland or that Oakland is ready to dole out the money that Michigan or another NFL franchise will.

I'd like it but I don't think that's an offense that works in the NFL these days.

I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas. Is that okay?

It is.  Same to you.

You mentioned a few pages back that you wish you knew earlier on how much "Training" helped with development. WIS says "Training" helps with the following:

"This refers to the value allotted to preventing injuries. Training specifically refers to the preparations made by players and staff to keep the team healthy. While some players will always be more injury-prone than others, spending money on training can significantly limit or minimize player injuries. Training also helps slow down the aging process.

I always thought player makeup and coaches were the biggest factors in prospect progression. Are you saying Training plays a large or larger role?

Training plays a role in developing the physical ratings.   Power, durability, stamina, range, etc, etc.
