That is not a question.

No, there isn't an obvious answer.   It's obvious with VR/VL but a RS/RBI at home is a RS/RBI not on the road.

Right...should I send in a ticket asking why those stats aren't displayed?

You could.   WifS has been talking upgrades pretty hard as of late.

Do coaches retire or die? Or both? Or in theory can you have a 120 year old coach running 3rd base?

Also when rehiring players is there any way possible to offer them a shorter contract or will they always reject before free agency if you don't give them the number of years they want?

They retire.   Or maybe die.   Either way, I think it's 67.   I can't recall seeing a 67 y/o coach.

If a guy wants 2/5, I'm pretty sure he'll take 1/10.

I've had two coaches coach at age 67, retire at age 68.

Both were longtime FIs.  Isn't that really the only coach from whom you'd benefit keeping around as long as possible?

Bonus fact:  The first one's card stopped updating at age 69.  He should be 74 by now.  MAYBE THEY DON'T DIE.

What would you do?

I am in need of another SP for my rotation.

Is willing to come back for $5 mill a year for 2 years

The best free agent out there is

Who I am thinking will be a type A and will probably sign for way too much money.

I'm thinking Beltran at 2 years for the money he wants plus a buyout in the second year. What do you think is the best plan of attack in this situation?
4/11/2015 10:57 AM

Give Beltran 4m and 6m with a mutual.    He shouldn't drop too much but, if he does, you can buy him out for 1.5m thus paying him 5.5m for one season.

......... That's a great idea. Thank you. (I know its not a question but I figure praise is a reasonable substitution).

That is not a question and sergie decides what's "reasonable" in this thread.

What is the max offer for a minor league free agent? MiL w/STi correct? Although it says bonuses cannot be given out, I've successfully offered MiL w/player option and no trade clause but I feel like that reverts it to a normal MiL w/STi contract.

The reason I ask is, I know players will send messages saying they like the offer but other franchises offer them a better shot at making the majors, aka they looked at the depth chart. But I'm seeing messages that say they're receiving better offers from other franchises but the offers are not ML contracts. Do you think the other franchises have more spots open for them and they aren't using that verbiage in the messages they're sending?

It's verbiage.

On the radio in real life they say not to get married to relief pitchers because they can fluctuate like crazy from year to year and are easy to replace. Other then absolute studs, what is your thoughts on the bullpen? Worth the money or try to keep it as cheap as possible without costing too many games?
4/13/2015 10:29 AM
I let the 50-60 innings guys go relatively easily.   Give me a 140 inning guy and I'll pay him the money.  Examples:
Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Matt Christensen
Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Kennie Simpson

My reasoning is that I use low STM SP more frequently than the average owner so I end up with 6-8 guys between 130-160 IP.   So, to me, the RP with 140 is just as valuable as the SP with 140.

If it's true that everybody who opposed Obama for President in 2008 was RACIST!!!!, then is it also true that anybody who opposed Hillary for President in 2016 is MYSOGYNISTIC!!!
