This guy is probably going to win the Cy this year. It's a contract year and he is 38. He wants 2 years at $10 million. Would you wait until rollover in hopes that he lowers his price and doesn't walk, or offer him $4 and $6 with a mutual option?

Or a third option I haven't thought of?

This guy -

Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Kolten Moreno



Was promoted a year after being signed as an IFA, traded, and then demoted for all of season 33.

I'm still trying to get a feel for development and what/what not to do. Did that demotion hurt this guy's development? Or with an IFA of this caliber did it not affect him?

Assuming a CF meets the average defensive requirements of the other categories, relatively speaking, how much better than average would the player have to be offensively if range was 80-84? In your opinion of course.
