unless the spurs goes to the 4 corner offense real early its gonna come down to the suns/grizz, if the grizz get there and suns don't, i think i have it
Can't guarantee this since I'm over .08, but it appears this way to me. I'll give the official tomorrow morning, but unoficialy I'd say csudak has it....

Yup, looks like catching overtime there got him a stay of execution.
12/9/2010 12:29 AM
I was watching the game and going into the 4th thought I had it in the bag, I actually turned it off when grizz where down 91-88 with 6 secs left b/c I couldn't believe they had only scored 10 points in the 4th quarter against a team who just the night before gave up 37 4th quarter points.

It's official.  csudak has immunity from today's vote.

Playing the Hip Hop Idol...
12/9/2010 6:43 PM
So, the hip hop idol was played, and no votes will nelson will count.

There weren't any votes for nelson however.

There were 5 votes for texan123, but unfortunately one of those does not count - as he voted for himself.

texan123 is council member # 7.

Challenge #26 – The Final Four

Congratulations on making it to the final four.  As there is no longer any immunity outside of challenge immunity, the last two challenges will be a little more detailed, a little more strategic, a little more chaotic, and definitely more confusing.  So pay attention, because from here on out, you will have to earn your chance to win the game.

Challenge #26 begins now, and will end on Thursday night .

For making it this far, I’m giving each of you 24 bonus Pola Tokens.    When submitting the first part of this challenge, if you Walk the Dinosaur with me and tell me the three words you see written on the screen  with the sing-a-long bouncing ball above them, you will get an extra token, for a total of 25 you can spend (at the time of submission) -  which will most definitely come in handy.

For the first part of this challenge, which will take place on Sunday, your goal will be to pick the NFL Teams who will outgain their opponents by the most points possible.   You can pick any of the teams that play on Sunday, but none of you will be able to pick the same teams.  I will ensure this by instituting a silent bid.  There will be two rounds of bidding.  For every team that you choose who wins the game, you will get the difference in points scored compared to their opponent.  If you bid on a losing team, you will get zero points.

Using your pola tokens, you will submit a silent bid on any teams that you want; you are allowed up to 5 teams. You do not have to use 5 teams for the challenge,  you just want to get the most point differential between your teams and their opponents as possible.  I will need these bids submitted by Saturday Night at 5PM Central.

For example, If you bid 3 Tokens on the Saints, assuming they are going to kill the Rams, and someone else bids 4 Tokens on the Saints, the person with the highest bid will “Get” that team and you will get your tokens back.

At 5 PM Saturday, I will post the Teams that were Taken, along with everyone’s current token balance (which you could still have from choosing not to use all of them in the first bidding round, or if you received tokens  back from being the low bid), and we will have the second round of silent bidding for the remaining teams.

In the likely case of first round ties, I will announce the team that is tied and who is involved in the tie for that team. The players involved in the tie will be the only ones who can bid more on that team in the second round with their remaining tokens, however they could choose to bid on an alternate team if they like.  If both teams are out of tokens in the second round (which is a reason you may want to save tokens), the tied team will go to the first team that submitted the picks.  If one player involved in the tie has at least one remaining token and the other does not, he may bid that token and take the team.  If he has tokens and does not choose to increase the bid , however, the team will belong to the other player.  In the event of a second tie (both players had tokens, and bid the same amount on the second bidding, the team will go to who submitted his second round bid first).

The second silent bid must be submitted between my 5PMish post Saturday and 11AM Central Sunday.  This will be the final bidding round. In the case of one tie between two players in the second round, the player who submitted their second round first will get them.  If there are more than one tie between two players, I will alternate the teams based on submission and which team was listed first on the list.

At 11AM  all teams are final and all remaining Pola Token’s are nothing more than collector’s items.  You all will start with a free touchdown (a score of 7), and will gain your cumulative points from the teams you selected.

Once Sunday’s games are completed, Each of you will have a score.  I will post the spread for Monday Night Football early Monday morning, and you can decide (Jeopardy style) how much of your score you would like to wager, and which team you would like to bet on, if any.   After Monday Night Football, whoever has the lowest score will be eliminated from the challenge and will have no chance at immunity.

Tuesday morning, I will add 25 points to each of the 3 remaining s scores and will be posting a “Sportsbook” for which you may gamble your score on.

There will be another set of bets on Wednesday morning.

Thursday, the lowest of the scores will again be eliminated from immunity.  The highest score on Thursday will get his choice of team for Thursday Night’s NFL Football game between the Chargers and the 49ers.  The second place team will get the other.

The winner of that game will get immunity, and a guaranteed spot in the final three.

I will keep updating the challenge every day from Saturday through Thursday to avoid confusion. Every day may require an action, so check in often, and good luck!
