Cannon was a straight D3 recruit. (23 WE will be a possible anchor), refused the RS.
Biel was pulled down, Took RS, High High in all blues. (projects to 700+) and should be the best true PG Ida has ever had.
Prediction, Biel ends as the all-time assist leader for Mt Ida.
2 seasons from now we will see if having 2 of the best offensive guards in D3 Allen makes a difference.
(They will not have exceptional PE, but will both be in the 60's in PE with good Ath, speed in the 90's Stamina in the 90's and 70% ft's)
They should both be 90/90+ in BH/PA.
Primary goal next season will be to add an offensive threat at the 3, preferrably from outside, and another threat from the post.
If we have a good recruiting season and land at least 2-3 studs, I will consider playing 4-5 frosh for the benefits of when Biel is a JR/SR.
Allen D3 as well as just the NAC is so competetive, we are actually looking 3-4 seasons away at a title run.
With lack of interest gnawing at me, I am looking for something to keep my interest in Ida for 2013 and this might be it.
Cannon is a nice player, but probably won't have the compliment of players around him to make a run.
Biel is a stud, and if I can stay focused... well, we will see what we will see
We will look back in the summer of 2013 and see
