I really don't care what city I play in (as long as it is not a hitters park), I would be more interested in what league and division, but even my preference in that is not carved in stone.

Id rather an AL team myself, as long as it isnt the YANKS!  :)
I assume that if the team is an AL team in MLB it will be AL in For Life eh?  like the Jays are AL and the Phillies are NL?

Correct, greeny. The setup will be like what you see in world Major Leagues, as that seems to be as close to MLB as HBD can replicate.

I would definitely prefer an NL franchise.  Cincinnati is close to my heart.  But, anything would be acceptable.

Since this is a "UNIQUE" League, why not eliminate the 30 MLB cities and pick from the other 62 (or whatever) available cities.   You can still make the team names and mascots unchangeable "For Life".

This league is going to take a while to start anyway, so once you have your 32 managers picked, have each of them throw some city names in the ring and let the league managers pick their choices of which cities should be in this league.   That gets all managers more involved in helping to form the league.   Then after the cities have been decided, have them throw mascot names into the ring and let everyone vote on them.   For example:  I was the Huntington Shields, if anyone else had a team in Huntington (or not), they throw it in the ring and all the managers (that want to) pick the mascot that best fits the league.   Geez, I have too much time on my hands, I need to get a life.

Cool.  I think we get to start the next time there are no public openings.  At least that's when soursurfer's ULB world was able to start, and it seems like that is the case now.
