First coach is gilty of contact with an other coach about an other player and the second coach is gilty for not turning in the other coachn Both are gilty of collusion ( spelling right this time ) This is direct violation of the rule. SEND A TICKET IN AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
guilty, not gilty.

WIS ruled it was a fairplay violation, and I received a warning sitemail about it.  I don't agree, but I'm fine with their decision.

I'm sorry, but how can you not agree???  Your actions cost Depaul not only a Top 35 player, but all the recruiting effort they put into that player.  Without your behind-the-back collusion, Notre Dame would have known nothing about said player's potential and would have more than likely never gotten involved.

What should have been done, is the player be put on Depaul's roster and removed from ND's roster for knowingly colluding with another coach, and USC should lose a recruit or be banned from post-season, or whatever the punishment they normally hand out is.

USC involved in unethical recruiting practices? That's the most realistic result I've seen yet.

If I were actually continuing on in this world, I probably would have scouted Galvan early. But, since I'm not, I didn't scout any players and only tried signing high-rated guys for the next coach. Which worked out well, because I had 50k or so left and 2 open scholarships. mcbethbr contacted me about the potential and I told him I wasn't going after the guy. Then, once signings went through and all my guys signed, I had that 50k...so I decided to go after Galvan. Which was the wrong move. I shouldn't have changed my mind and gone after him and I apologize to potter444 for that. I probably should have just sat on the 50k and let it go to waste. But I didn't and received the warning from WIS for a fairplay guidelines infraction, which I agree with.

Notre Dame will be opening up after this season. Maybe potter444 will end up as the coach of the Irish and get to coach Galvan anyway. Regardless, I made the wrong decision going after the guy (though the statement that I scout the area deeply was false in this cycle) and should have probably just sat on the 50k. But what's done is done.

Thank you for admitting your mistake, Brent.  Too bad your apprentice can't.....or won't.

You did the right thing by owning your mistake.  Now if mcbeth would just do the same...

I've asked support to have an asterisk placed next to nelsonba 67 titles.

And that he be stripped of his Survivor title and the runner up be crowned current champion!

This is definitely behind the back collusion. Very petty move by mcbethbr.

Glad to see I got under your skin potter.  I think the story is pretty clear from my sitemails.  Galvan's blocking of 75 ruled him out of a lot of elite searches which is why I had him green for so long.  Once you started on him I wasn't shy about sharing his potential.  Why should I care who signs the recruit?  Maybe because I'm not fond of coaches jumping on a green recruit and I don't care how far that recruit is from my campus.  At that point I was glad to see anyone sign the recruit except you.  I would have sent the same message to the rest of the Big Ten until I found s/o who was interested and had the cash left.
