They're obsessing over their offense like crazy, but the defense is bleeding. Losing Bunkley was a big gash. I hope they get Porter - having him replace Goodman is like double payoff. They have some good pieces, but Del Rio will have his work cut out for him this season. Could be a lot of shootouts.

Tracy Porter signed to replace Andre Goodman opposite Champ. That's a double + move right there

Ya, but he's trying to make an impact with his new team. Bad decision, but he's a smart player and he'll learn from it. I was impressed with him tonight. Travaython is likely going to be on the practice squad after this week - that was one of the most dumbass moves I've ever seen.

And they did learn from last season apparently, Mike - 3rd and 8 with a minute to go and they threw for a first down.

They were up by 20.   Quite the gamble.

Not the point. They ran it 3 times last season trying desperately to cling to a one TD lead. Monday, they ran it three straight times on the previous posession. Judging by Manning's timeout, after the first two runs on that drive, he was ****** that they were going to run a third time again. Clearly something was learned.

They had more that a TD lead when they got "aggressive".

Biggest test of the year and they eeked it out. They desparately need Miller for games like that - he needs to get off the pot and get his act in gear.

I feel sorry for Jacksonville next week. That game could be the most lopsided contest in NFL history.
