Of course we do.  We don't want anyone else to find it.

He's the King.

No.  Tebow doesn't hate you, because he's incapable of hate, but he'd rather you not find it.

Mike, I likely didnt explain properly because the answer is yes.  I understand football, as do you.

Scenario 1 - 4th and goal at the 4 yard line with 1 minute to go.  No timeouts for your team.  You are losing 21-17.
Scenario 2 - 3rd and 10 at your 30 yard line.  1st quarter.  0-0 score
Scenario 3 - 3rd and 19 from midfield 1 second left in the half with your team up 24-3

In NO scenario would an interception be less harmful than an incompletion.  So, yes.  Thats true.
But an incompletion in scenario 1 is more harmful than an interception in scenario 3.

So yes....  you are right in the fact that in any one specific scenario, an interception is never preferable to an incompletion.  But there are situations where an incompletion in that particular scenario is worse to a team than an interception in the other scenario.  That was my point.

Conversely, a pick in scenario 2 is MUCH more devastating than an incompletion.  Interceptions on the whole are WAY more devastating than an incompletion, but in certain sitations an incompletion can hurt more than an interception in another.

Mike, in regards to E's football knowledge, you must know this....if he were coaching the SB, he'd pull an onside kick on the opening kickoff.

Inside sources?

I said either the opening kick or the opening kick of the 2nd half, whichever my team kicked off on.....  and I said it in 2003 to Muddy.  AND WHAT HAPPENED WHEN THE SAINTS TRIED IT?!?!?!?!?  IT WORKED!  TEH GENIUS

Oh, I didn't say it was a bad thing, just that you think that way.  When the Saints pulled it off, I immediately thought of you.

I know it's early, but Tebow is on his way to having more wins in 4 games than Newton has in 9.  Efficiency is key.

But Denver has so much more talent.

Oh, wait, they don't.

BTW, here's one of the problems with Newton.  Breaks off a 26 yard run late in the 1st half.   By himself on the sidelines about 20 yards downfield.  Cuts back to the middle of the field and slides.  Forces Carolina to use their last timeout thus forcing them to throw to the sidelines before missing a long FG.    If he steps out, Carolina has their timeout and can attack the middle of the field.

sounds like a pretty huge error

Only if the objective is to win games and not pad your stats.

Must suck for Panthers fans that Fox left Carolina for Denver and is now doing more with a less-talented QB and roster.

Matt Ryan, professional QB, throws one out of the end zone with 5 seconds left to ensure the OT FG.  Newton runs to pick up 6 extra yards to pad his stats.

FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
11/13/2011 4:11 PM
Yes, but Newton is a better runner than Ryan and makes QBing look so pretty!
11/13/2011 4:15 PM

And you're a RACIST!!!!! if Newton's ***** hasn't touched your lips.
