The point is that Melo has played in the most stacked Conference perhaps in NBA history.  First round series against SA, LA, Dallas, you get the point.

Melo had some nice players, but no one great.  No way he was getting past LA or SA and not likely Bron could for a series either.

I get the feeling that Boston fans are a little more than worried about NY this year, so they might as well talk now.  Should be a fun season.

I think you're missing the point, which is that you're overrating Melo's contribution to said team, seeing that the same cast went 18-7 with Felton/Gallo/Chandler instead of him and Chauncey.  If you surround him with elite role players you'll have a pretty good team, but his overall value is limited by his lack of D.

FWIW I'm not really all that worried about the Knicks, if we can't beat them then there's no way in hell we're beating Miami or Chicago.

I'm obviously not trolling since everything I have said is correct, as supported with facts and sound logic.

Well, neither has a good passing or rebounding skill set, so they are never going to be a LBJ type of player.  They can't take over a game as easily so they really don't even try.  Kind of Karl Malone-ish. 

but neither can Durant really.  Westbrook was the hero there just as often.  Dirk was the best scorer last season anyway (with the phantom calls of course.)

Howard can't be too happy about last night's game vs. the Heat.  12-0 Heat to start the game, up by 18 mid 2nd qtr.

The Heat didn't really look that great.   No ball movement to speak of but their talent is just overwhelming.

That would be quite the generous gift, unfortunately most stores are sold out of Jrue Holidays and just have an oversupply on Luke Ridnours on the shelves.  It's almost the same thing!
