I'm sorry gusy my team is struggling this year.  For the last time in the yarnell for a few years this hurts.  I think it is showing how deep IBA div II really is and how hard it is to stay on top.

congrats, Hacker - this tourney was the closest as far as competitiveness that it has been in my memory. Bummer that we came back from about 18 down to take the lead, and then still found a way to lose. GG.

Up 54-34 with just over 13 min left. You outscore me over the next 9 minutes 29-5 to take the lead with 4:26 left at 63-59. Then upped it back to 4 with 3:33 left at 68-64. Then my guys finally woke up and outscored you 10-2 from that point on.

I mean holy frick that was almost a huge choke job. I was about to switch to slowdown and put my subs in. Then couldn't buy a FT. 13-22 from the line.

I'm headed to the trout stream this morning so no summaries for now. The games are good reads though so maybe I'll post them later. Rally from 20 points down, buzzer beater, etc. Good games. It feels pretty good to win a Yarnell title on the last day after losing so many others the very same way.

been trout fishing all weekend. And my big money fantasy baseball draft is tomorrow night. So I gotta prepare for that tonight. Will get final Yarnell tallies and all-tourney teams up sometime soon afterwards.

This Bobby Petrino thing has had me busy for 2 weeks. Should have something up this weekend to tie a bow on this. Thank goodness my Harding team is pretty damn good as I've hardly changed the gameplan settings or anything on them since April 1 when the Petrino story broke.

I always get tickled when I do the history standings and see Caldwell at the top. When furry was at Caldwell, he was a superclass coach and qualified for the tournament every year, but would decline when his superclass was Frosh and Soph, but play when they got older. So he never really took any lumps.

That was always frustrating to me.  But I guess everyone's entitled to play the game however they want.
