I'm sure Davis will get the start but man did he look lost last night. He was just flailing up there.

I don't think so, Davis has been surprisingly good out there.  He's more mobile than he looks and he has a great arm.  Did you watch Game 1?

Ford and Davis are comparable, but Davis has a far better arm. I may have swapped them today just so Davis could clear his head and focus on his hitting.

Unless McLouth gets an AB with the bases loaded, this game is over.

Helluva a season. It's obviously disappointing, but hard to be too disappointed - it's been an amazing ride. Looking back, there really also wasn't much to regret this season, with the O's perfect record and not being walked off on (until Wednesday). I can count 4 games, including Game 3, that I felt the O's could/should have won that they didn't.

Hard to see this team getting any worse next season, so it's just a question of if they can keep the same magic. I hope they bring back McLouth. A platoon of him and Reimold in right would be very solid.

DET/NYY in the LCS.. what a ****** matchup. I wish the O's woulda pulled it out.

Could have been worse for the O's - they could have had Wainwright on the hill tonight.

I'm extremely happy with how the season went.

It'll be an interesting off-season. The Os biggest needs are an ace and 2B, and the FA market doesn't offer much for either. Napoli is also the only 1B that would definitely be an offensive upgrade over Reynolds, but Marks defense closes the gap. If the can bring him back cheaper than 11M, I'd take him.

I also don't mind the rumours of a Soriano trade if the Cubs eat his contract. As a DH/part time LF, he'd upgrade the offense.
