I like that idea dave.  We can spread it out over the 10 days of non-conference play starting with the 12 vs. 12 game.  The only tweak I would suggest is having 3 vs. 3 and 4 vs. 4 at game 9 and 1 vs. 1 and 2 vs. 2. (which in most seasons will really be 1 vs. 2 and 2 vs. 1 since both conferences tend to put a team in the Yarnell) at game 10.
that works too.

Pfeiffer is in

OK- So combining the ideas, here's what I have come up with. This is similar to Dave's....but feels a bit less difficult to coordinate for some reason. 2 games a day will be pretty good for the tourney - I like what mduncanhogs said on this thread said about the teams being allowed to be able to develop a bit.

Week 5     12 vs. 12, 11 vs. 11
Week 6     10 vs. 10, 9 vs. 9
Week 7     8 vs. 8, 7 vs. 7
Week 8     6 vs. 6, 5 vs. 5
Week 9     4 vs. 4, 3 vs. 3
Week 10   2 vs. 1, 1 vs. 2 (due to yarnell)

Unless anyone has any issues, and using the criteria for games that mduncanhogs came up with, I propose this schedule.

If a few of you guys OK this, I'll site mail all of the coaches ASAP so the games can be scheduled. This will almost always work as a template, because there will pretty much never be a team below a #2 seed in the Yarnell. If that does happen, adjustments can be made as needed.

Week 5. - Lincoln @ Lees-Mcrae, St. Andrews Pres @ Montevallo
Week 6 - W. Alabama @ Mt. Olive, Anderson @ W. Florida
Week 7 - Drury @ Coker, Erksine @ St. Edwards
Week 8 - Valdosta St. @ Queens (NC), Barton @ N. Alabama
Week 9 - OK Pandhandle @ Limestone, Bel Abbey @ Rockhurst
Week 10 - Incarnate Word @ Longwood, Pfieffer @ St. Mary's (TX)

Note: I also agree that the most fair way to make the schedule is using RPI

I like it bbunch.  Good combo of the idea to spread the games out and let players develop a bit.

Agree, I like it, 2 a day is good.  I motion we do bbunch's schedule.

The boys from The Mont' are in. I also like bbunch's schedule.

I guess we're being presumptive everyone from each conference is in.  We've heard no dissents but we haven't heard from everybody either...

That's alright. I'll send the site-mail to everyone and tomorrow, when scheuling is available, hopefully everyone is in.

I'm pretty sure scheduling starts on Friday.

Drury filled, so it will be all humans as long as everyone stays after next season.

Cool - schedules can be made now. This should be fun.

My scheduling request has been extended. Next season can't come soon enough ;)

Hopefully the last three games get scheduled - and then we'll have a pretty cool challenge

I have extended my offer, still waiting for Anderson to schedule...

Sounds like everyone has scheduled their games! -

Davefilby, I assume that you're going to do the writeups...
I'm also happy to do them if there are days that you cannot. Otherwise, have at it!

mduncan and dave, thanks for your suggestions and help with this idea - should be the start of a good tradition.
