Let's be honest here. We've been sitting a couple weeks because we are the type of world that wants some stable, experienced owners--and we don't mind waiting for them. But now we would like to get on with the promising, new season.
So we're offering a free season to the owner whose new team improves the most over its Season 16 franchise baseline of wins in Seasons 17 & 18.
Example: Team A won 78 games in Season 16. It wins 88 in Season 17 (+10) and 76 in Season 18 (-2) for a net gain of +8 wins over the next two seasons. Whichever new owner--including those who have already joined us this off-season--has the greatest net gain wins over the next two seasons wins the contest, a free season, and a Laurel and Hardy handshake from our beloved commish. Ties will be broken applying normal HBD tiebreaker rules.
This is a much better deal than anyone is currently offering.
There are 5 teams remaining and we expect them to go fast now that we have resorted to unabashed bribery.

We are looking for experienced owners only. At least 3 seasons.
