Look at our host, schwarze, one game back of the top spot at the halfway point.

I hadn't noticed this before either. It actually messup up one of my rotations a little; I was expecting someone to be auto-skipped because of fatigue, but they pitched. Like mensu, I would have thought I'd seen this in some earlier season, but apparently I'm not that observant.

Never knew this...this must be a new change or I just am usually out of the race by now and forget to check my teams more often!

what is the furthest amount of points a player has even been out of  "the cage" at the halfway point and still managed round 2?   Not that I'm looking at setting a new mark i was just wondering.   It would be interesting to know

I've never heard of the All Star break rest either, and I've toyed around with fatigue management for quite a few years. But I did notice an improvement in my fatigue on two teams in the tourney and I can't recall ever seeing his happen before.

It's been around a long time, at least 4-5 years.  Someone (I've long forgotten whom) pointed it out to me during my first year or two on the site.

9/2 pm2 was just a joy -- Mauched it (4th time already!) despite holding the lead in 5 of the 6 games.

0-6 for me this morning.

my last five cycles: 0-6, 4-2, 6-0, 0-6, 1-5. death throes ...

So far i've had 148 1 run games. that's roughly 27% of my games. and of course i am 67-81 in those games. if those numbers were reversed i would be doing much better in the standings. seems kind of high but i wasn't too sure. i was wondering if others had similar numbers.

145 1 run games, with a record of 89-56.  40 games that have gone extra innings, with a record of 22-18
9/6/2012 12:27 AM
143 One run games with a 62-81 record. 20-43 in extra innings. My $90m team distorts both of those though with a 13-25 and 0-12 record, respectively.

I also have a sub-500 record in one-run games (topped by my 14-30 mark in the 100 mil league) and it shows.

All six of my teams have higher Pythags than actual winning %.  The 100 mil team's is 103 points higher.

and of course, immediately followed that post up with an 0-6, four by one run, a fifth by two runs after leading in the 9th.  Three of them in extra innings.

Blergh.
