Drew Bledsoe is going to be on the I/R in 2001 and unless the New York Giants draft Tom Brady (!) they are going to need to trade for a QB once the 2000 season starts to lead them to Glory!!  (or at least beat Dallas)

Willing to trade Picks, including 1st Rounder or players (have excess capacity at WR) for a 1-year Starting QB or a longer-term guy.

Site mail if you want to talk trade.

Was late in site mailing Steve but for you all in market for a qb Dallas offer jay Fiedler and his strong 01 season

Others available from Green Bay  in trade Edinger K,  Ariz ST , and for those that will need mega draft picks Kirby RB plus our later round picks.

A contender should consider acquiring the ST from Ariz if you want good field position in 2001.

A little surprised that the top 5 Defenses Pitts, Chic, Balt, Phil and Stl Rams are not shopping to acquire better ST especially with ATL ST and Ariz ST being up for grabs.

a 2nd round pick being 9th KC , 11th Phil, 12th SD , 19 NYJ and either 23/24th Pitts by these franchises could certainly bloster them for another run at a title.

The NY Jets (proud owners of the Baltimore Defense) already have the 7th best ST (Miami) in 2001. Atlanta is #5 and Arz #14.

I don't think we'll be moving our 1st or 2nd round pick to move up 2 spots in the rankings.

Not sure how you're ranking them but based on salary  Atl would be #2 , Mia #4 and Ariz #7 .    Mia is solid in defending especially punt returns but not much on giving field position when returning KO or PR while both Atl and Ariz are. A 1st is far too much but a mid to late round 2nd would be about right especially for a contending team.

All in to Win a championship or continue to leave a franchise short that little something extra that could enable a championship?

I'm new to this league, so maybe a 1st was too much to ask for.

Here's a revision.

Cincinnati is looking for a 2nd round pick for the San Diego Chargers defense (rated #10 in 2001).
Cincinnati is looking for a 2nd round pick for the Atlanta Falcons special teams (rated #2 in 2001).
