Sign me up.
I'll go with players who hit 30 or more home runs in 1998 (full season). That's 32 players.
Welcome and thank you for joining. Boy, steroids were something, huh?

My category is pitchers and hitters from the 1978 New York Yankees.  Only 24 players went the full season with them, so someone gets World Series hero Brian Doyle.

I'l come in with this category: RP with 100 IPs or less with a minimum K/9 of 10 and a maximum BB/9 of 2.00.  36 in category.

That's certainly going to skew some bidding...

I like it!

When you turn on only "full seasons", there only show to be 30, not 36.

I forgot to do that but I still like the category.

C'mon people. Don't be scared of a complex theme. Come have some fun!

I've tried to get a whitelist league started before.  Seems like there aren't that many simmers who like to go outside their comfort zones.  But I think this one has potential, since it gives everyone the possibility to call their own shot.

I wonder why that is.

It seems like the more complex the draft procedure is, the less likely people are to be interested. Then again, the more complex and interesting the draft procedure is, the more likely I am to be interested. Non-conformity has its downsides...

I would like to participate.

e: Catchers with >400PA/162 and >70 speed. 33 players.

I'll jump in as well:

The fourth man: pitchers with at least 180 IP/162 and salaries under $4,000,000 who have ERA+, WHIP+, HR/9+, and ERC+ over 100. 31 pitchers.

That makes 9 sign-ups. Hopefully flyingman will jump in and update the groups up at the top.
