We are going to be running this league as a 16-owner league now.

Bheid408 is going to step aside, so we can get this league going right away. To determine the last 8 draft categories I set up a random sequence generator to determine which owners get to choose. Each number corresponded with the order in which the owner joined:

6
10
1
9
8
5
13
12

Meaning the eight owners that get to choose a second category are: shysters3, 5pointtoss, flyingman, DCSquires, just4me, nocomm999, pinotfan, and dweezil.

Please try to get your categories in by tomorrow. As soon as I get the categories posted, I will add them to the classifieds page. I will also begin creating the 25 individual draft pages. I've sent a request over to admin to get a private forum posted for this league, that way it is easier to navigate and find our drafts.

I've also spoken with a couple owners who expressed concern about not being able to make their picks at the times I have set up. I originally set the draft times from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but I could easily be convinced to switch the draft times to the afternoon/evening (say 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM). Let me know what you think. I'm 100% fine with either one.

For my second category:

ANGELS IN THE OUTFIELD
Team: Anaheim Angels
Position: Outfield
Min. Games at O: 0
Secondary Positions: not checked
PA/162: 100+

This yields 28 different players; the owner who wins the bidding selects his player and that one is his exclusively (for that category).  For example, if the winner chooses Tim Salmon, Salmon is off the board; the owner can use any season of Salmon he wants and no other owner can select Tim.

The search yields 28 players, but 84 differrent player-seasons from $408,730 to $9,252,582; there are speed demons, home run hitters, great fielders - I see this as a disparate category that can allow an owner to tweak his lineup.

Pinot,

Your category is fine, but the league is set up so that all player seasons that are searchable are available. So, for example, if someone wanted 1999 Tim Salmon and someone wanted 2000 Tim Salmon they could both be taken. If you're fine with that, that's great, but if not you will want to alter your category.

looks like we could use some more bullpen help, so:

Award Winning Relievers
Settings:
Position: RP
IP: 100-999
Season Type: Full
Awards: Reliever of the Year, Cy Young, and MVP

Yields 24 unique player seasons

I'm making my category for pitchers who have succeeded in spite of their wildness.

Pos - SP
Season - 1920-2012
IP/162 - 175+
BB/9 - 4.25+
HR/9+ - 0-99
ERC+ - 105+

18 players on this one.

I'll amend my category, as there are too many options available.  Revision coming soon.

guess we should make this 2000-2011 since they haven't included Trout or Harper for some reason

Mash it or Miss it. ( Pre-juice (?) and De-cloned)  1901-1995: 40 HR and 20 SO per 100 ABs.   Yields 25  Decloned means only one Mantle or Schmidt can be drafted in this category.
