World Series Teams with a twist league Topic

I like the idea, unfortunately I can't really fill out a team where most of the principle players fill the $140mil cap!

I can find teams where I have a bunch of expensived full time guys on my bench and fill the cap, but that seems to be a bad strategy...

Now we're rollin' again.  Step right up.  Twist a world series team.  It will make  you attractive to women.

I think that's a dilema most teams have.  Such a narrow search creates ;large amounts of money at a few positions.  Just have to consider that in your strategy.  I left 13million on the table, and spent about 8 million on extra outfielders.

Well..  why not lower the cap then?

I think dmoss may have started this league @140mil b/c the 2000 Yankees are one of the very few teams that could reach the $140mil cap.

May make for a bit of an uneven playing field is all, I like the theme and have no qualms w/dmoss.  Just stating concerns I suppose

Reducing cap to $130M would be OK with me to help level playing field. I would have to go re-draft my 1927 NYY's to fall under $130M ...

Hey guys the cap I can lower , but that is the reason I selected way above avg AAA for teams to fill in and make it a level playing field.

I lowered the cap to 130 million with AAA way above avg to help. A's fan doesn't have time to play so his two teams are now up for grabs.
