The After Non-Conference Games Coaches Poll is up!

And as always, if you would like to get involved, just sitemail me!

------------------------------------------------

**Sorry I've missed the past couple days. I had a death in the family, and family takes priority over everything, so there just really wasn't any time to get to this the past few days. But don't worry, everything should be running up and on time in a couple of days so I just ask you bear with me for a little bit. Sorry guys, and thanks for sticking with me on this.**

4-0 when updated...0-2 when not....coincidence, I think not.

Lycoming is about to change their offensive philosophy....

Sad that both of these will probably die out.. they were good reads while they lasted.

I would suggest that we post any "new business" in a new post rather then editing old posts. It allows people to know that there is a new post, ranking, topic, boast, compaint about the sim, etc.

I am maintaining a similar post in Bryant, and the problem with what you suggested is that, at the end of the season, you will have those update posts scattered around, rather than have everything in one place (on the first page of thread). This is IMHO though.
However, what you said makes perfect sense, so what I do in Bryant is that, every time there's an update to the initial posts, i will post a new one at the end saying something like "12/10 games review updated in post 2" or "coaches votes seasons awards announced and updated in post 4" something like that. This way there is a new post and people are aware of the update, even if they have to go back to the first page to read it.

I think I'll do both Elk, I'll update the main post on the first page, and include a link to that post, and I'll also pots what the update are. So while the updates may be scattered around, they will also, all be on the first page all together and organized

I had not thought about that aspect of performing updates; but your suggestion makes sense to me. I see sjci is going to do both new and updated posts. Links might be another way to pursue this. i.e. post a new message with a link to the updated message.

Ya, so I'll make a new post with the update, and also post a link to the main message that will keep everything together. Bets of both worlds haha.

And just to let everyone know, we are getting back to the regularly scheduled system after today. A new coaches poll will be up at the end of the conference championship games and also playoff previews

Not too bad for the first go round. A lot of the winners I didn't have were teams I thought would probably be in the game. The NESCAC was the only conference I really didn't have right.
