Or you could get 2 large power blocks and only let the 2 main countries have nucler weapons and tell both sides that an attack against their allies is an attack agaisnt them. That could prevent nuclear war for decades.

If you're giving the capability for nuclear weapons to 2 countries, why stop there?  Why take the chance that one of those countries decides to use it against the other and blow up the world?  No nukes is the only way to fully prevent the possibility of nuclear war.

No way man....just give everyone the bomb.  ARM EVERYBODY.  No way anything goes wrong if everyone has one.

Actually we were just discussing how an F-117 and B-2 stealth strike could shut down the Russian nuclear response capacity and a follow up of SLBMs could eliminate the threat of Russian nuclear atack forever.

So if you want to give the bomb to everybody I presume you would include such independant states as the Vatican and Monaco?  Both of which are less then 1 sq mile?  No way I trust the Vatican with a nuke, but maybe Monaco, but the button has to be held by Princess Grace.  Ok, it has to be buried with her.  :)
