HIGHEST PAID STAR IN THE NFL? Topic

Basically what edsortails is saying is this:

If you really are worth what you think you're worth, just put yourself out there and do your best to convince someone of it, and they will learn it and you'll get what you're worth.

If you're really not but think you are, do your best attempt to con someone into agreeing with you anyway. That's the way the world works - education, hard work, and determination help but the real things that determine your "worth" are who you can con into believing you are more than you really are. If you know someone and they like you, this is even easier to accomplish - hence why networking has so much value.

If you're ****** that a commissioner makes that much money, maybe you should work to become the commissioner of a major sport.  If you either (a) don't have the brains, (b) don't have the work ethic, (c) don't have the education, or (d) don't have the connections, quit ******** about someone making money in the most lucrative businesses in the world.

And ::koff koff::: Jtp is right.  Whose fault is it that ballplayers **** away their money in strip clubs and pyramid schemes?  It ain't Roger Goodell's fault, it isn't Bud Selig's fault, and it ain't David Stern's fault.  IF YOU'RE GONNA BE RICH, LEARN HOW TO MANAGE YOUR OWN ******* MONEY.

I for the most part agree.

I was more talking about the guys that played for peanuts back in the 60's and 70's and somewhat 80's.
