The demotion penalty is a bit silly.

What is customer abusive is that the players do not make up for it. There is no correspondingly normal re-development,nor any escalated development for a player being promoted back to the big league team. That is ludicrous.

WIS inhibits our play and enjoyment of this game and makes it so we are prone to do less moving of players then actual MLB GM's.

As a child, I was told "you'll go to hell for lying".    You're punching your own ticket.   MLB teams not destroyed by injuries have 28-30 players who get meaningful AB/IP before roster expansion.   You know this or, if you don't, you should. 

For that, or for dragging in a Goebbels comparison when confronted with what snivelling ball of whine he is.

Just to chime in, if WiS did what you wanted, you would then further eliminate new users who wouldn't understand the mechanics (or ways to 'game' the system) to their best advantage.  It's hard enough to fill worlds and now you would give the people who play or have played and know the better combinations of ratings to play with 40 guys against a new user who barely knows how to use 25.  Thats better? 

For what its worth, since there is a very limited player AI regarding motivation, the penalties are there to simulate (remember its not real life) the effects on players, guys with low temper, high patience and high makeup don't suffer as much because they 'get it' when sent down or delayed in a promotion.  Guys with ratings on the other side represent your typical 'me first' guys.  They get ******, etc. 

This game is very much a checks and balances game with all the negatives that that comes with.  Yes it sucks but if you hate it that much don't play. Becuase it certainly won't be changing for a very long time.  You know that the game isn't developed that fast.
