Surely you understand "Doesn't affect you" is universal, right?   Or do we now only apply it to specific causes?
Rape and murder affect *someone*. Marriage affects only the people getting married.
"Doesn't affect you" has been the reason.   Is it now "someone"?

I dare say the families and friends of the couple are affected in some way.
You know this is stupid, you're just trolling.

It's stupid because your only logical reason is "It doesn't affect you so why do you care?"

I find that to be a stupid reason and you admittedly have nothing else.

Lawrence makes those laws unenforceable. The laws themselves are illegal. Even your article says so, idiot.
So, in your opinion, no one could be detained for breaking one of those laws?

I'm saying the laws are illegal. Anyone could be detained for anything but you can't be convicted of sodomy.

It's stupid because you pretend to not see the difference between a crime violating the rights of others and a marriage violating the rights of no one.

Hmmmm.....I'm pretty sure you can only be detained for an illegal activity.     Is it your contention that I COULD be detained for standing in my back yard staring into the woods?

You can be detained for legal activity. It happens all the time.

And it's beside the point. Sodomy laws are illegal.

Ok, I'll reword it for you, troll. Gay marriage should be allowed because it doesn't infringe on the rights of anyone else.

Animal cruelty laws.

Quite honestly, breeding cats to produce kittens and then crushing the kittens heads with a brick on your back porch doesn't infringe on the rights of anyone else.
Why is that against the law?

I don't know. If you'd like to sue to make it legal, have at it.

We should let them. Because marriage is important to them and it doesn't affect us either way.
If somebody wanted to marry their toaster oven, should we allow that?  Maybe marrying their toaster oven is important to that person, and It doesn't affect anybody else.

Can a toaster enter into a legal contract?

So "doesn't infringe on the rights of anyone else" really has no legal basis?

I assume not because ******* a corpse doesn't really infringe on rights but it's quite illegal.

You're a dumbshit troll, but I'm sure even you realize that there are other considerations, like the ability to contract, right?
