Thinking of joining with 1972 but my team only gets to 130K. How much do other teams have? High cap leagues are tricky sometimes. I tried 3 or 4 other years and came in even lower than 130K.

yeah, the high cap really doesn't work for this league. maybe 100k max.

plus, not sure if it's too late, but to have a draft year repeat, especially in the 70s is going to produce the same teams. there's not much choice in the 70s. this is a great theme but each year could only be represented once and still get great balance.

Cap works fine, one of the reasons I joined the league.  IF it goes lower, I quit.  My team is in at $128 mill and is fine.

I think most teams are gonna come out between 120k to 150k tops.

Agree with Mattyberk, most teams will come within that range.  My team is in at $140 mill.  Disagree with Kiteport and agree with Feasor.  Setting the salary cap at $100 mill will neuter teams and take away from how great some drafts are.  There's no clones and we're no sharing players with other teams, so why should these teams be constrained?  I picked my team and had them laid out in the draft center before announcing that I was joining.  No way I stay in the league with a neutered team at $100 mill.

Hey guys...I feel responsible for this. I asked a question about the cap earlier. If teams come in between 120 and 150, I'm ok with my 130. If teams were in at 170 to180 I would probably not put my team in. I was only making a comment guys. Anyhow, I'm in with 1972

Cap isn't going to move. Not expecting anyone to reach the cap but wanted to ensure that the best team possible for each draft year could be used.

Those of you wanting two teams, go for it. Thing about a second team for myself as well.

thanks skippper.  don't mind you starting the discussion that got started either, I don't start too many leagues and always like some feedback.

I took 2003 for my second team which means 2003 has now been used twice and shouldn't be avaailable but...  If someone comes along who wants 2003 as their first team I will pull it and enter a different second team.

can someone please explain something to me? LEGENDEJK took 1968. In 1968, theere were 24 players drafted. Of those 24, 5 or 6 played in the NHL. Am I missing something?
