Simple rules: draft players from 25 consecutive seasons starting with your birth year. For me, that's 1956 through 1980.  That means you must be at least 24 years old in order to play.   I can almost guarantee there will be no deadball players... but you never know.

Dangnabbit! I wanted to join this league and play with some old timers using 1860-1884 as my years. I was born in 1860 and have vivid recollections of watching Ty Cobb shoot over Earl Campbell to beat Siam in the 1880 Basketball World Cup. We had some real players from 1860-1864 like Bobby Orr and Red Grange. They all played for a team called "There Once Was A Lady From Nantucket" back when Sam Malone was president in the 1870s. Dang, those were some fun games to attend - and a real education too.  But the dadgum confounded machine don't start until 1885!

Then I thought I might use 1964 - 1988 since that quack of a doctor what gave birth to me wrote 1964 on my birth certificate.
