Only time I have ever messaged a coach over recruiting was when I had a relatively new coach drop a ton of money on a recruit. He only had 2 open scholarships and I had 6 plus I had a prestige advantage of B+ to C+. After I won the recruit I simply told him its probably not the smartest thing to fight a battle he had no chance at winning. Otherwise, its to your complete disadvantage to say anything, message board, private message, or otherwise regarding recruiting
