FYI SpotSell- since it's now 10pm (EST) and mark's timeslot has passed- feel free to kick off Round 7 whenever you feel ready !
oooh, I'm not sure about that, are you?

typically I would need to wait till my scheduled time to skip a player

It wouldnt hurt Mark, and i for one have no objection. it would be a huge advantage to all, especially those with day jobs, if we could know the night before what team would be played next morning. Maybe we could change the schedule so that the first pick of each round takes place immediately after the completion of the previous round, rather than waiting until the next morning.

Yeah- I put that in one of my sitemails...next Round can kick off @ 10pm regardless of missed picks to get the next day's Round going...interesting point made about all the lost Yankee/Phillies/Browns seasons...could be a lot of Round 25 players coming from them...no 2 UNO Drafts ever turn out the same :)) you grab who you can and put together the best team you can for $120 mil

St. Louis Browns.: 66 seasons, 2 picks .New York Yankees 100 seasons, 4 picks. Philadelphia Phillies, 117 seasons' 4 picks.
Total of 283 seasons, 10 picks.
Thats why I thought a skip card could be used to continue a team after the last team has picked instead of having to pick a different team

Thing is then a skip card has no use outside of your pick 1st round

That's why I think the skip card should be not to jcontinue a round into the next, but to allow you to go back to a team already used, not just the one at the end of a round. If someone wants to play a skip card for a Yankee in round 20, they should be able to, even if the Yanks went off the board in round 1. IMO, the skip should only apply to the one who plays it, not the owners picking behind you like a reverse does.

I like that idea...I will take all of your ideas (I've got an UNO discussion thread up now) and put all of the various ideas on the table for a few "Poll" questions to vote on for what looks like is going to be an UNO Version 2 coming in a month or so after we finish this draft   :-))

Then how is that different than a WC???
