One of SJ's historic power franchises that took a step back this season.  Owner is dropping down to fewer teams.  A good young core led by SP Embree and  CF Barcello.  Manageable payroll.  Add a couple of players and challenge the division, or trade away the vets and start over your way.  Plenty of flexibility here.
