Ouch, right where I thought I'd be....but still, one division leader.  Gotta hold on to that one playoff chance.

I know it's early, but check out the leaders in the standings.  The top 7 includes four previous champions (rbow923, brianjw, mildnhazy, jfranco77) and two perennial round 2 advancers (mensu1954, bardin)

It looks the competition for the last 6-8 spots will be intense

And look who's leading now. Good work schwaze - looks like a fun first round so far.

Shhhhh.... (nobody was supposed to notice)

Yes only 5 games back of 94th place.  Keep up the great work guys.

Well, now that the hot streak subsided (7-5 in last two sessions), I will comment on what my teams did over the past few days...

From Aug 13 am thru Aug 14 pm2, my teams combined to go 31-5.  Those six sessions went 6-0, 4-2, 6-0, 4-2, 6-0, 5-1.   I'm pretty sure I haven't even had three 6-0 sessions in an entire tournament before.

Wow.

This is the most bizarre thing I can ever remember seeing, with respect to the standings.  What if I told you that one particular individual has teams in the 90M and 100M themes, each with an 18-21 record?  No big deal, right.  What if I told you that another of his teams has a record of 12-27 and is currently ranked 94th out of 96 in the 80M theme?  What if I told you that this same individual is currently ranked 5th overall?

Huh?

His 70M team is 28-11 (ranked 2nd)
HIs 110M team is 29-10 (ranked 1st)
HIs 120M team is 32-7 (ranked 1st)

* In round 1, there will be 6 different themes we'll each be involved in. Assuming 96 owners, there wll be four leagues for each of the six themes.  All twenty-four leagues (4 * 6 = 24) will be started at approximately the same time. Points will be awarded based on wins and playoffs success. The standard point formula will be used.  Points = Regular season wins + playoff wins + 5 points for making the playoffs + 5 points for each playoff round won.

* The top 24 owners in cumulative points from round 1 (regardless of which leagues they were in) will advance to round 2.  In round 2, there will be another 6 themes (different from the first six themes). The same points formula will be used in round 2.  Round 1 results will not be completely ignored in the final score. The weighting will be 33% for round 1 and 67% for round 2.... In other words, the cumulative round 1 score will be divided by 2 and added to the round 2 score to determine the Best Owner in WIS.

Really schwarze?  A six game lead over the entire field!?!?!  I smell a fix!

Got to appreciate the seeding. I only have 2 teams over .500, but 5 of my teams are tied for or within 3 games of a playoff spot.

After a horrid start I've somehow made it back to .500 on the nose. My 80M and 100M teams are bringing the whole ship down but I've got four potential playoff teams (thanks to some good division draws) and maybe I can sneak into the top 24.
