Just in time for the Class of 2014, we're ready to roll. The first 10 spots in the draft are returning owners going in reverse order from Season I.

The only other returning owner is blaisebbss8, who will go 11th unless he's bumped down a spot in the randomization for the 13 new owners.

I'll get a random.org list for the 13 new players, who will draft in spots 11-24. The random.org order will be assigned in order to slashtc, XYGZ, soxyanks12, hurricane86, tajohn, ratedpg_13, jbar8888, korris10, keymasster, Area51man, jajcac89, The Hodags and blaisebbss8 (2).

No memo, but it has been in the rules posted since Aug. 10. Would have been happy to consider changes before setting the draft order. Except in progressives, I always do drafts in recurring leagues this way. The teams picking early went 24th, 22nd, 21st and 19th in the first version. I reserved the first 10 spots for returning owners, thinking we'd have many more coming back and those who had picked early in Season I would be randomized along with the new players. With only 11 coming back, I probably should have revised that but A) I hate changing rules after they are posted and people sign up and B) in a snake-style draft that's going to be heavily leaning toward adding SP in the early rounds, I figure most people would just as soon go very late as in the middle.

That said, I'll go out on a limb and take presumptive 2014 inductee Greg Maddux. If the baseball writers somehow keep him out, I'll repick.
