If CSU-San Diego turns down his bid, CSU-Stanislaus gets his if he wants it.

Northeastern St and Humboldt St would be next in line.

But no guarantees, if I don't hear anything from someone, I go get another team to fill tournament and I know I can count on burkboyz always wanting to play.

That's definitely one very strong field.  The 6 SRs and 6 JRs of the Chico St. Wildcats might be tough for any of the rest of us to beat.  That offense is just scary good.  The only hope will be winning a shootout.

Holy cow what a game at Chico State. Harding blew a big early lead and Chico blew a big late lead. Ebb and flow. I cringed every time Chico jacked up a 3.

St Mary's leading scorer and go to SR guard J Bennett hit a wide open three-pointer from the right corner with one second remaining to finish an incredible comeback to win by one point on the road in Chico. Chico St totally shut down all-american center M Murphy in the first and with J Bennett in foul trouble built what seemed insurmountable 44-26 halftime lead. St Marys rallied big but Chico State seemed to get everything back in check leading 72-59 with 3 minutes left in the game. Then St Marys backcourt of Bennett and Gallo took over with help from M Murphy inside and finished the game on a 19-5 run to win 78-77. St Mary's never led in 2nd half until that final shot.

Hillsdale College was on the road down 29-19 at halftime and it's starting backcourt of J Latimer and L Grimm had only 4 combined points. They were only in the game because the third guard in their 3 guard attack had 11 1st half points. Grimm and Latimer led a 2nd half surge including a 22-13 run to end regulation to get the game to OT. The Hillsdale defense then took over and gave up only 2 points in the extra period to win. Grimm had 15 2nd half points to win POG. Latimer had 14 2nd half points. Harding was paced by S Templeton with 16 points against double-teams and A Seybert with 9 points and 8 rebounds. Seybert missed a FT at end of regulation that would've iced the game. 

Longwood and UIndy staged a competitive game all the way down to the final minute, but UIndy just couldn't get over the hump. Longwood hit an impressive 9-21 from behind the arc led by POG A Wurth who hit 5-12 for 20 points but poor FT shooting (11-19) let UIndy hang around till the final minute.
