badja - Combo - He did sell the Crystal Ship to Jesse, but he also sprang a leak too.  Combo didn't make it long, and I am afraid the same is true of this squad.  This team isn't going to be competitive with the top teams as far as D goes.  Love will take away from the good things the other players are trying to do offensively.  At this point I think the 11-12 Love season is almost quasi cancerous like some of the Grant Hill good seasons are.  Anderson plays are clean game even though he blew game one of the 95 finals and then sucked so bad for the rest of the series that I actually thought he was John Starks from the 94 finals.  Oh right now it looks like you have 16 points of usage in the starting lineup...that is some wasted moolah.

You put a lot of time in here!  Thanks.

I would also consider myself like Declan....coasting on my reputation as the guy to beat, but vulnerable to an attack from the competition:)

and you just might be Jack's Gang:  one of the last crews standing when all is said and done.

smokey:  fouls actually lessen a defensive rating.  So those high foul guys that have high defense have already had that defensive rating lowered because of that stat.  I know this because when the last real update that came, seble had a discussion with the playerbase about it.

Often, though, those high foul players got a lot of those fouls trying to steal or block.  Thus, their DR still remains high.

Ash, high fouls is a relative term, I consider 1 pf/10mins acceptable from a +def75 player. A player like Alvin Robertson has 3.6 pf/g and a 42stl% @ 35 min's/g. IMO A-rob's stls outweigh the pf's and his def91 crushes perimeter off's. I typically pay about 1pf/g vs my opponent, for +2-4 slts and to run a press defense. This team has decent boards w/johnson 386 & lanier 339 creb, so the idea behind the BC's high slt% is to disrupt my opponents assist more than make up for a lack of boards. This team is very specific wrt certain aspects, 1) across the board +75def so that I can run a press defense and not foul excessively, 2) a strong perimeter def (80/91) with high slts (31/42) and strong ast (429/171), 3) average to good d-boards (276/253) in the FC and 4) FGA>7500. IMO the first 5 rounds have gone quite well.

btw - sort SG's for the #1 orb% & #1 slt%...A-rob. His def is ranked #6 @ SG. Alvin Robertson got taken 3rd for good reasons.

Name   Usage% eFG% OReb% DReb% Ast% Stl% Blk% Def
Deron Williams 23.4 54.4 1.3 8 34.2 1.4 0.5 70

        36.2 95.7 65.2 6.4 10.3

This is an ok team.  Not great in any area thus far, but not terrible either.    IMO, defense over 65 is overrated, esp on the road, whereas eFG actually holds up pretty well.  Biggest thing is I'd love are more assists, but over 60% is just icing.

900 3's thus far at 40% is a bright spot and will keep the def honest.   Still 6000 minutes to fill and no money problems there.

nice work - my only critique would be you look a little light on the offensive boards but the impact of that (if any) will depend on the other teams in your division

Usage is a bit high, but I'll admit when I just looked at it for the "eval", I thought it said "60" def, not 80. Make a big difference from "not hurting" to helping.

should score a ton as usual though...chucks gonna get his

nice leib, ya save a few bucks, gain a bit on def, reduce usage by a couple points, and maintain all the good things manu does while just losing 200 mins. i like the mark jackson pick, especially that season. definately a toght team to match-up against. if ya got any whusses in the frontcourt on your squad, this team is gonna feast. gl2u

dh555 - Mix Master

this team has a little bit of "anything", and a lot of everything, a good mix! concerned a bit with t.o.'s, but is offset with dynamic efg%, which is off the charts. it's tough building around barkley, something i could not do well because of his deceptive usage. it's not as much as you'd think it would be, yet he scores and takes shots as if he was a 30% usage guy.

this translates into having to draft some high usage players to surround him with (west, zelmo), yet not too much to take away from barkley (barry, chandler). like i said, a very good mix here, dh, one that supports your 1st round pick. well done. defense is not terrible, not great, but teams won't get too many second chances to score because of your strong dreb%'s.

still cannot decide if this is an uptempo or half-court squad because of t.o.'s, yet could be a dynamic scoring group in an uptempo style. guess you would know better than i would in this department.

barry is always a sneaky player on a team. he is often forgotten about, and just when you have corraled barkley and west, barry is lighting it up from the arc to get his 15 points at times, and the other team comes out on the short end... and if it's not barry, then chandler will get his. zelmo is a very consistent scorer. uva used him once in an odl, and was scoffed at. he won the championship.

west was the right guard because barry does what west does not. good pairing there.

you're in the playoff mix. gl2u

i like the addition of Person. was considering 3 other sg's with similiar numbers. one had more dimes, one had more boards, one had a more famous name. all had 80 def. settled on Person because of his mins and efg%.

leaves me with 1915 asts, 4500 drebs and 1250 orebs and no one under 70 def. efg% is good, and low t.o.'s and fouls. hmmm... something's wrong. wonder what it is. just leaves me with 5.2 mil for bench. maybe that's the issue. will see.
