The NL East team, while it isn't flush with talent at the ML level right now, is a treasure trove of talent in the minors. A couple of real studs, and then a ton of ML prospects.
The AL North squad is the exact opposite. They are a playoff team the minute you sign up, but the cupboard is somewhat bare when it comes to prospects. A pretty good draft spot this year, but they had a run where 8 of 10 seasons they won 100+ games, so there haven't been many top 10 draft picks lately. But if you love being good on day one, and spending money on FA's, this is the team for you.
The AL South team has been up and down over the years, lately more down than up. A top draft pick and a $10M IFA last year, they've got some studs in the minors, and the ML squad could have done better under different management last year. It's a good team that you could go any direction with.
