Yeah, I looked it up.  Just like you did.

Difference being, I didn't know the state ahead of time.
Are you sure I did?

Let's put this another way.

You said "I consider Republican candidates."
I said "The hell you do."
You began hammering me about voting Dem.
I said "Yeah, I voted against all incumbents but one in 2012" and threw out some details "young minority" as the reason why.
You went off on another tangent about Dems.
I repeated myself because you didn't seem to understand what I said.
You did some research and said "That's the guy!!"
I'm saying "I'm 50.  48 is not young."

And here we are.

Are you saying that Scott isn't the "minority GOP incumbent" you voted for?

Yes or no.

How's Strom Thurmond doing?

We're allowed to vote.   If people would vote out the incumbents, a message can be sent.    But it won't happen because 80%, I imagine, are pressing one side of the poll regardless of the name attached to it.
When was the last time you voted for a Democrat for president or congress?
2012.   I voted for one incumbent.    He was a minority, Republican and young.
He was a Republican. When was the last time you voted for a Democrat?
2012.   Read the goddam post.   I voted for ONE incumbent.    ****.
I don't know the party makeup of the congressional incumbents where you live.

Honestly, I'm surprised that you voted for a Democrat for Congress. Which Democrat was it?
2012.   I voted for one incumbent.    He was a minority, Republican and young.

Yeah, I checked this AM.   Seems my theory was better than my practice.    There were no Senate seats up for grabs and the HoR was the young minority Republican.   But I voted for a shitload of Dems on the state/local level.
I think it's much easier to vote for the other at the state and local levels. I do it all the time. But I haven't voted for a Republican at the federal level in 13 years.
I suppose my conviction will be tested in the future.
There were no Senate seats up for grabs and the HoR was the young minority Republican.

Scott is the only one that fits.

Even within the context of BL's extremely low standards for participating in incredibly dumb arguments, he is looking exceptionally pathetic in his need to "win" this one.

It's obvious Mike is uncomfortable giving you an idea of where he lives.  You're falling into your "ask the same question over and over" routine, despite it being obvious you aren't getting an answer.

Is he?  Or have you made a faulty assumption?

That you're on the eastern time zone? I guess that could be wrong. I'll include central also and see if that changes anything. Because that's the only assumption. You gave the other parameters: male, minority, GOP, incumbent, no senate election in your state, and now, another one: younger than 48.

MUDD: I lied.

NORMAN: What?

KIRK: He lied. Everything Harry tells you is a lie. Remember that. Everything Harry tells you is a lie.

MUDD: Listen to this carefully, Norman. I am lying.

NORMAN: You say you are lying, but if everything you say is a lie then you are telling the truth, but you cannot tell the truth because everything you say is a lie. You lie. You tell the truth. But you cannot for. Illogical! Illogical! Please explain.

(Smoke comes out of Norman's head.)

NORMAN: You are human. Only humans can explain their behaviour. Please explain.

KIRK: I am not programmed to respond in that area.

(Norman goes blank.)

SPOCK: I believe they are all immobilised, Captain.

KIRK: Good.

BL = Norman.

Mike = Mudd.

I think mike's lying now when he implies that Scott isn't the congressman he voted for. I don't think he was lying before when he said he voted for a minority GOP incumbent.
10/23/2013 2:53 PM
I probably started lying when you sounded desperate to find out where I live.

Was that before or after the young minority comment?
