ROUND SIX
What we've got here are six of the most storied franchises in Major League Baseball since 1903. Starting in 1903 and breaking it up into 28-year periods, there will be four choices for each of the six franchises listed. The Cardinals, Dodger and Giants were pretty easy choices for the National League. After the Yankees and Red Sox, I had to choose between the Athletics, Indians and Tigers for the third choice. I went with the Tigers because they were the only franchise that I felt could field a competitive team from all four time-periods.
The draft order is determined by your W/L record in the previous round of the tournament. The draft is pretty simple: when it's your turn, you simply choose which 28-year time-frame (that's still available) from which franchise that you want..
ROSTER-BUILDING GUIDELINES: You can't have any two players from the same year. With 28 seasons to choose from, it shouldn't be too difficult to select players from 25 different seasons.
