thinking about the Tommy Davis issue, I came up with a great idea..after the last round of the draft do a randomization and have the winner given the choice of drafting him and dropping someone. if he doesn't want him then go to next in line...no reason to excludes Davis from the proper draft..your thoughts ?

I just didn't want to all of a sudden make him eligible because it seemed inevitable to me that someone would protest.

If anyone has any serious opposition to this, we'll drop the subject and just make him eligible for the '65 draft, I'm fine either way, but I don't want to just toss him into the pool at this point in the draft. 

its logical to have him in the right draft..having a random chance at the end doesn't disadvantage anyone and its a little fun and bonus for someone ..i think it fixes the error in a good way.

Had computer problems all day. Sorry for the late pick. 

          I like the idea put forth by Dino to have Davis subject to a randomized draft. Davis doesn't have a lot of value in 1965 and should be able to participate in the 1964 season. Disqualifying him because of the commissioners ineptitude (kidding) doesn't seem fair to his player status. However I think I should receive first pick as I caught the error. Anyways with our 5:30 pick we select 2B Tony Taylor.  

blues, you were the bearer of bad news so you get kicked down the hole :).  Randomization is ok with me, no big deal either way.
